About Justice as Trauma
The interdisciplinary Justice as Trauma conference, presented by Feather Walk (Myrna McCallum & Jennifer Yong), is taking place in Vancouver, BC from April 3-5, 2024, at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
We will identify traumatizing aspects of various justice systems while promoting proven strategies to lessen harm and reduce traumatic impacts. We will further re-envision justice to reflect compassion, humility, and humanity.
We look forward to gathering and establishing an international community for the purpose of building innovative trauma-informed responses to justice.
This event is for lawyers, judges, psychologists, restorative justice practitioners, physicians, regulators, administrators, leaders, officers, educators, support workers, human resource professionals – and anyone interested in trauma, healing, and true justice.
EARLY REGISTRATION RATE AVAILABLE UNTIL DECEMBER 16, 2023!
Detailed agenda, full speaker list, and conference hotel will be announced soon.
